Default What's a good diet to put weight on an older cat?

I have a wonderful 15 year old Siamese, named Sushi, & a 6 year old tabby named Coco. A few months ago Sushi was throwing up constantly. As soon as he ate his solid food it came up, he drastically lost weight. So I started mix his solid with wet & that went well he put back on some weight, then he lost interest. I moved to having solid food out all the time & giving both cats wet food in the morning only (Coco is a pig & will steal Sushis portion unless I sit there & keep him from it). Now Sushi meowing almost constantly, going into the kitchen whenever someone is there & "asking" for something to eat but when it's put down he doesn't eat it. I'd love to take him to the vet but we are in dire financial trouble & can't afford it. Sushi is getting so skinny. I can feel his bones easily & I'm very worried.

Can anyone suggest foods that I might be able to give him to help him put back on some weight??
