Default guppy fish please help

i have just brought four guppy fish for my tank . Three have died i have took the other one out of the tank and put her in one on her own . told the pet shop and they then explained that i was given the wrong advice  as these fish were not compatable with the ones i have at the moment . The thing is one of her fins at the side has been nibbled . the rest are fine . It may seem a daft question but will her fin grow back ? If not will she die because it is damaged ?
It makes me sad because i will have to explain to the kids if its not in the bowl in the morning . bloody pet shops why don't they give the right advice .

well i would really carry on about this especially when it involves children getting upset. the petshop sound like they do not care about the animals. if i were you, like 6cats said i would want a refund or exchange for all four and an apology. hope it doesnt die for you

i dont think there are many decent pet shops these days ie pets at home and pet city etc, they are all, like pl said, out for the money.
when i were a lass  pet shops seemed to care about the animals that they kept, even if the one i used to go to had a monkey that bit me

babycakes, go back, DEMAND a refund, then go to russells he is really good, has expert knowledge, he seems to know everything about anything where pets are concerned.
