i don't think it should be legalised, because it would open the door to people getting bumped off for money, land etc. it would also be a huge responsibility for the doctors who had to do it. they would have to live with the fact that they were intentionally killing people daily and i don't think thats fair

For anyone who has watched a close one slowly suffer from a termainal illness They will say YES.I do. i watched my father suffer so bad and loose his dignity. He died at home which took almost 2 months for him to slowly deteriorate.I witnessed many things i wouldn't wish on my worst enemy and hearing his cries and screams of pain will live with me for the rest of my life.He was connected to a morphine machine which pumped morphine into him every five minutes. There was a button you could press to administer more if he looked like he was in terrable pain(which was most of the time towards the end)My sister admitted afterwards that she was so close to pressing the button and to keep pressing it.It would have been so easy.Anyway the day my father died his brothers were there talking about all the fun they used to get up to.You could tell my dad was listening, slowly he turned his head on the pillow and died with a small smile on his face as if all the pain was now at an end.
I definately say yes to this when there is pain, suffering and no way of recovery!!!
