He is 78 and I think that is too old for the job he has to do.

But maybe there are other reasons they appointed a 78 year old. Maybe he will make some radical changes and then they can get someone new once his policies have been implemented - so the younger person will be able to mend bridges created. :?

I must say though I know nothing about religion, popes so I expect I am talking rubbish so please ignore my ramblings. :lol:

he is way too old and too stuck in the old fashioned catholic ways :? they need someone who has more of a grip on reality and the way things really are now and not the way the catholic church has been for too many years!!



and now im gonna go and say 10 hail marys for daring to speak out against the church :lol: :lol:

It does seem a little old but to be honest I know nothing about there faith whish is a shame as my daughter has been christened as catholic did I spell that right I really must look something up about it and finf out what she needs to be taught about her religion :roll:

i think they need new blood , a younger pope with radical ideas, someone who has no problem ordaining gays or women. we are in the 21st century not the 16th
