On sat night/sunday morning the lady one door down was having a huge row with I can only assume her now ex partner, they have 2 children and have been together since I moved in 3 years ago. I have never spoken to either of them. Anyway the row was getting worse and i think she now has a new man who was in her house, the next thing was the ex picked up a bin and thew it through her window and them walked off.
I could see all the house light come on and curtains twitching when all the police turned up. I told all my mum this story and she said we should have asked her in to my house as she would have been in a right state  NO WAY would I do that!! What if the nutter came back and saw her come into my house. Would you ever help out in that kind of situation, Im ashamed to say that in this day and age I would have to turn a blind eye to all sorts now just to protect myself and family. |

well i would have gone round to see if she was ok at least.
thats the trouble these days people are all me me me and only look out for number one which is a shame.so in response to that if the tables were turned and anything like that happened to you, you would think it was ok for people to just walk by? |

Well the bit I didnt get was she has a very good friend who lives next door to her and I pften see them go out together, however I didnt see or hear her go and see this woman. She did however appear in the morning to go around the neighbourhood and say sorry to people for the disturbance caused BUT why didnt she offer her friend help??

why did she go round apologising, was her friend too embarrased?
did she actually hear what went on, some people can sleep through anything. BUT if she is her friend and she did hear and done nothing then she should be ashamed of herself!! |

There is no way her friend could sleep through that, even when the police were drilling to board up her window it sounded like they were coming through to my house.
I really dont know why it was the friend going round saying sorry but she never made it to my house  |

I would have at least gone round to see if she was ok and i cant see how not being funny you would deffo know her friend didnt help in any way were you at the window from start to finish so as to see her neighbour going in to the house or maybe she foned the police? People find it very easy to judge when there not in that situation themselves. On friday i was crossing a road with my 3 children when a car roared round the corner without indicating i just said why dont you use your indicators and he verbally abused me and threatened to get out of his car we were on a secluded bit of road with no houses and no people arond and i didnt have my fone on me a lorry driver behind lent out of his cab and said try it mate and followed him up one side of the road and back down the other to make sure he didnt get out i was so thankfull although he just went on his way after putting his thumb up at me to check i was ok. People need to think about what they do but i think nita is right the world is getting the way it is as people are just about me and dont seem to care about what happens to there fellow human beings.
