i would want someone, a friend i trust to tell me, ive never been cheated on or ever cheated so i havent been in that situation before :grin:

I would definately want to be told!

I know I would be angry at the person who told me (although most likely because I wouldn't want to believe them) but I would be grateful that they did as I know it would have taken them a lot of courage to do so!

I am not sure if I would want to be told... I think that you can usually tell if your partner is having an affair... moods change etc.

My hubby (before we were married) and I were going through a real rough patch. He started seeing someone whom he used to date when they were in their late teens.

She was married and I don't think that it went beyond meeting up - although I'll never truly know -and I knew straight away what was going on.

Unfortunately, mobiles, emails etc can help enhance an affair without your partner ever knowing.
