Default chocolate companies and cometitions

Do you think chocolate companies should be allowed to have competitions on (like the kitCash one) or do you just think it make kids spend more of their money on chocolate?

I dunno

LIke, i remember when i was little, when they had ompetitions, youd find out if youd won there and then, on the wrapper, or bottle or whatever, but now you have to text in, spending more money and you dont find out if youve won for a long time.

But i think the companies have seen how gullible people are and that people are willing to spend and extra, say, 25p on a text to see if they have won a competition.

Personally, ive probably won loads of prizes but never text in to see, whats the point? they proves long ago that you could have an instant wrapper win, so why not now?

I don't agree with the text competitions as lors said it costs the kids more money. I do think instant win competitions in the wrappers are a good idea there is nothing better to pick a bar of chocolate up with your a winner makes you feel special

i was never into sweets much when i was a child - mind you that was when paper-based magazines like Bunty or Manday were like the same price as a packet of Smarites and it was always one or the other so I normally took upt the offer of the magazine instead, it waso nly as a teenager when all the magazines i like were like three times the price of a sweet that i got into eating chocoalte big time.

im not into mainstream sweets so much that owuld have competitions or instant wins on them - id rather buya a 100g bar of Green and Black's or some other *posh* brand than say a 250g bar of bog standard chocolate.

i am sure over the years i have bought tons of Diet Coke though in order to do the instant wins they used to do like finding a certain letter or number under the ring pull but i never did win anything like that, nowadays that wouldn't be trendy enough for the mobile phoen generation *and of course the big huge multinationals can make lots of money out of the textlines too*
