I was only trying to reply to what Lors said, a am getting a little bit fed up of everythign I say getting taken the wrong way on here this weekend.
Who said I'd be using things I disagree with myself, I menat more for people who I love, perhaps by the time I get odl and decrepid they might have found some more humane ways to do it, all i meant is that although i may not LIKE the fact medical animal testing has to continue, i can understand it a lot more than stupid unneccessary testing for cosmetics and makeup, which is the kind of testing i advocate against anyway NOT medical testing.

I can see a bit of what your saying smoky, but i agree with Pinklady ever so much in what she says about if you believe in something, you should do it whole heartedly not just here and there when you want to.
If products, back in the old days, hadn't been tested on animals, a lot of people wouldn't have been here today, they would have died from the effects. If thousands of people died, or caught a nasty diesease from a new lipstick, or went blind from a new eyeshadow or mascara, people wouldnt hesitate to test on animals. In your views, why is testing on animals for medical reasons ok - but not for cosmetics? I arent being horrible, its just a question.

youre not listening!!
my point is, yes i know you are giving people links because they ask but you HAVE used these products yourself, what is different from buying it to someone else using it on you, you went to the hairdressers and paid for this product to be put on your hair, you paid for it end of!! if it is so disgusting you would have said no sorry i wont use that due to ethical issues. |

does any1 have any pets ?
i do a dog any no way would i allow any1 to do anything to him so why is it ok to test on other animals i agree that cures or illness's need to be found but why should they be tested on animals animals are living things too, they feel pain and get effected by the tests |

so would you choose that they are tested on an animal or on a member of your family??? in theory we all would love it to be a perfect world and scientist to wake up one day and have the answers to things without testing but im afraid we dont live in that world!!! if its your choice to choose not to use these products then fair enough but it is also others people choice to use what they like! we can all have opinions without pushing them at others constantly, the idea of opinions is that we all differ yet respect others.
