Default removing paint?

Hiya

can anyone help me? Ive got emulsion paint on my stained wood. Im gutted, weve taken ages to prepare and stain the woon. I masked up all the wood but its leaked through. My fella gone mental with me and now were not talking. I cant believe this has happened. were having the carpets fitted on monday and its not ready.

Has anyone got any tips on how to remove it without damaging my wood stain?

hi lors,

is your wood varinshed as well as stained.
emulsion paint is water based so should come off with just soapy water, but not sure about the wood stain though.
