Hi

Sorry to be thick but wanted to ask how to send a personal message to get password for Over 18s forum. also do you have to enter password everytime as I don't want my son to be able to have access - he's almost 11 and better on the computer than I am!

Hiya

If you find a forum where father foose has posted - and it should say PM member somewhere on that post

regarding the logging on each time ect, i think that it will ask you for your username one when you try to go into the forum, any forum, but then youll have to log out yourself, which is located up at the top toolbar

Hope Ive made sense?

Thanks Lors

I'm just getting the hang of things - I've been without a computer or six months and it's taking some getting used to again . My hubby used to do everything and I just had to log on and start chatting - but now I've had to buy, set up an maintain the PC myself -even managed to load internet & set up e-mail addresses myself.

something easy for others I suppose but when you've never had to do anything before - starting at 40 is different!

Well done on getting everything up and running.

I think things just take time to get used to, I cant even use our new remote for the TV yet

Like ive always said about computers, if you get stuck, or if theyres anything youre not sure of, switch it off at the mains and start again!!!

how are you tonight? you said the kids are at their dads, i bet if gives you a nice break?

well I managed to send the PM to Father Goose,

thanks for your help Lors

I'm not too bad tonight - like I said I don't like not having kids but after a tough day at work I've spent about an hour in a hot bath with a magazine and a cup of coffee and just chilled out. The housework will still be here tomorrow!

Some nights I just have to get in my car & drive to my brothers - they've got 4 kids aged between 13 and 5 so their house is never quiet like mine is.

I get the kids back at 6:30 tomorrow night - we meet at Alastair's jujitsu lesson so I don't have to have a proper conversation with him - just Hi see you Sunday.

I might have to do pancakes tomorrow depending on if their Dad has done some for them or not - Alastair loves pancakes. Laura was too young to care last year so I don't know if she likes them or not.
