Sister of the ward told me yesterday not to come anymore.

that was probably because she can see how hard you are fnding the travel with small children!

you really need to look after yourself as well - you know I can pop in with anything your grandad needs for you! I'm only 10 minutes away from the hospital!

your grandad's being looked after - has he been able to speak to you?

You've had the opportunity to day goodbye - that's something you can look back on - he knows just how much you love him

Aww thanks Joanne there's nothing he needs he's not eating or drinking.

I know i got chance to say goodbye but it really hurts and i feel so awful. We are so close its going to be hard knowing that he is not around anymore.
he can't really speak and when he does its gibberish, he did manage to recognize me for a few minutes then he went again.
What really upset me i rang one of his brothers and he took the huff with me cause I'm not visiting my grandad anymore.
He has never been we are the ones that have done 4000 miles this last 6 weeks
