I was out since 9am this morning wandering around the shops with my mum
Just smelt something really funny upstairs like burning :roll: Have you seen them sticks that you put in the garden, they glow in the dark?? Tom stuck one on his lightbulb :roll: kids!!!

Hope everyone is fine i have been popping in and reading but havent had time to reply so got 5 mins to myself so thought seeing as its very quiet here decided to make the effort to post.Hope everyone is ok and those with probs etc are doing as ok as they can be.
Well the house of Daffy has been very subdued over the last fortnight my Gran dying has really taken the wind out of my sails and it takes all my effort to just get motivated to get out of bed luckily i have got the kids because i really dont think i would manage getting out of bed otherwise.
Since she has gone i have thought of her alot and realised more than ever what a wonderful woman she was now i know everyone says that about there dear old grannys but she was such a wonderful woman and as near perfect as anyone will probbly get close too. The night before she died i spent all night awake at her bedside i didnt want to leave because i knew in my heart i wouldnt see her again.She had a little saying and it went when you have got something good you want more and more of it and that was oh so true that night.Anyway sorry folks im going on,on a good note she has inspired me to make sure that christmas is celebrated the way she would have wanted us too without mourning.
Nita you like Chinese dont ya? was thinking of doing a lady that lunches one day next week cant do it on my own fancy going to the wing wah? let me know!

your gran passing has really taken it's toll on you daffy, my heart goes out to you. it's a terrible time losing loved ones, it's especially hard when you've still got to put a brave face on and face the world when you just want to curl up in a ball and hide away.

it's nice to hear that you'll be celebrating christmas the way she'd have liked you to, she sounded like a lovely lady.

You're gonna feel like that for a long time vik, i cant say that feeling of sadness and missing something has ever gone away with my grandad, difference being he was more like a dad to me as he brought me up with my mum

My gran bought me up when i was little after me dad left till my mum got married when i was 8 all my early memories were about her and my grandad so simalar to you i supppose xxx
