My mam didnt have her op yesterday - its ridiculous, they want to do another scan and chest x-ray! With my mam having angina too, they said they wanted to do an extra scan as angina could cause heart attacks when going through the operation. Not the best to hear, but i know that this is all true! We were told the risks before heand, i know this is for the best and they must do extra tests for precautions etc.... i just wish it was all over now!

Hopefully they will do the tests within the next few days they told us last night, they they want the op done within the next 7 days!

Will keep u all updated.

Awww thats a shame karen im sorry to hear the op has been postponed but yes its for the best they know what they are doing and they wouldnt want to put your lovely mum at any more risk

I hope they can get it all sorted really quickly xxx

My mam is home today, she will find out within the next few days when her op will be done! This xmas i know wont be the same, but my mam's health is much more important and that's the main thing on our minds right now. I just keep thinking that by now she would have been half way through recovery :roll:

I remember the last date when my mam was supposed to be having her operation, the night before i thought i was going to have a heart attack, seriously i had everything going through my head - silly i know!! Its just hard to control your feelings and i,m quite weak to start with.

I,m staying as strong as i can be at a time like this, its hard but when i have positive people around me including all you on here who have been great, its a big support for me - thankyou again guys!x
