Mam's op went really well :grin: - i burst out crying when i found out it went well, it felt like a weight had been lifted off me! She is still in the high dependency ward for a few days then she will be moved up onto the normal wards afterwards, just cant believe it is over for her, it was such a stressful time waiting. I called the hospital today and she is drinking fluids and the surgeons are happy with her. I think they will grade the result in a week's time to see if everything is ok, not sure what my sister meant by that but i will ask today when i go on.

She went down for th eop about 2.30pm, they said about 2 to 3 hours it would take, we all kept calling throughout the day then at 8.00pm we were told she is well :grin: she has had the tumour removed! They had to cut away at the sides take the tumour from the middle then join back together. My sister actually fainted when she heard everything last night in the hospital, they took her down to casulty :roll: :lol: bless her!!

So releived that it went well :grin: will keep u all updated, once i have been in today i might find out more!
