Well i do hope you and your families had a great xmas! Not too full after those turkeys, and choc's and little bits and pieces :lol: it goes on doesnt it. Just the new year to set in now :smile: Hopefully mam will be home by this weekend so that will be nice :grin:


Its my 2nd wedding anniversary today :smile: got some nice personalised pure cotton towels off Vugar :grin: they are lovely!

I'm going to get as much as i can done then go home at 3 I think, I'm not hanging around for too long, it's like a ghost town here!

What has everyone got planned for new year, we're hosting a dinner party, I really don't like going out any more, it's so disappointing.

hi hannah, wow you're brave hosting a dinner party, sounds lovely, what are you cooking ?

well i've a big hangover today, went out last night with joanne and the girls and we had an excellent night, one of them where you just seem to laugh all night, we saw a band then went on to a nightclub !!!! i am sooooo tired today, i am aching all over as we didn't get home til almost 3am ! haven't done that in YEARS :shock: still buzzing about the night though, and still laughing !

jeffs just taken anna to his mums so i'm having a mooch on here then going to get a nice hot bath and hopefully sort my head out.

no plans for today or tomorrow, but we're taking anna to cbeebies live at the MEN on saturday afternoon so really looking fwd to that as i booked the tickets in feb which enabled me to get row b tickets, right at the front. hopefully she'll like it as she's never been to a show or cinema or anything like that. she loves the tweenies and all the other characters though so no doubt she will.(fingers crossed).

anyway, hopefully some more people will be back on later and there'll be more chatting going on....

Many thanks for the congrats :grin: nothing planned for tonight as Vugar is at work till late then i,m visiting mam tonight. My sister Sharon, is having a tea for us on saturday so that should be nice, plus my mam might be home by then (fingers crossed)! :smile:

I'm doing my old favourite of truffles and scallops with a salad then monkfish wrapped in parma ham then some gordon ramsey knickerbocker glories, they're gorgeous, so much preparing to do but it's always worth it.

At least our friends always return the favour!

Hey Polly, i went to a nightclub for the first time in years, had a good night too and a hang over from hell but enjoyed myself, don't understand how people can do it every weekend though, i'm still recovering now!

hannah, you`re brave i`d prob ruin it, i tried to cook scallops once and overcooked them- they were so tough. i`ve nver attempted again.

going out for a family meal tonight it`s my grandmas birthday. so we`re going to a lovely italian. pity i`m driving there

happy 2nd anniversary Karen 2 years eh?? :lol: i darent think about how many years it will be for us this next year

The dinner party sounds fab Hannah... what time shall i drive over for? ;o)
im not sure what we will be doing this new year as Paul took Thomas and his friend to italy skiing and Thomas managed to break his leg and has a full leg cast for the next 3 months :roll: puts a bit of a hindrance on outings really :lol: mind you i think hes milking the fact that he cn sit and ask people to brng him things

is everyone else like me and climbing over all the presents and worrying where they are all going to fit?? :lol:
