Default New Years Eve

 morning all

what have we all planned for tonight then ? i think new year is a bit of an anti-climax, everyone expects you to be doing something or seems to be doing something exciting themselves, yet if you're not you end up feeling all sad and boring

we used to go out every year before anna, you can with no kids but even the last few years of that got a bit boring. since anna we stay in every year. we've been invited to a party tonight but i can't really see the point of dragging anna out in the middle of the night in her pram to walk home. maybe i'm just boring :???:

anyway, we're supposed to be going to chiquito's this afternoon, jeff's cousins stepbrother is a magician so does a few of the eating places on the retail park, i'll enjoy that more and so will anna.

went to cbeebies live yesterday, it was good. not as good as i thought it would be but anna enjoyed herself, especially as we were at the front and milo from the tweenies waved at her, made her day

supposed to be calling at inlaws today for a new years toast  but i'm not going, jeff's not happy about it but after the christmas dinner fiasco i'm not putting myself out for them today, why should i ?

anyway, bit of a moany post first thing from me so i'll sign off - depressing everyone

chat later xx

I'm without kids for the first time in 11 years! and what have I planned? a night at my brothers - he's got 4!

we're off to my Dads as soon as Alastair finished in shower and then to my brothers before I take the kids to their father at 4pm.

I can have them for 4 whole hours tomorrow! how kind but I have to collect them and drop them off! see what I mean about him walking all over me! last time - see New Years Resolutions

hope you have fun this afternoon Paula - I'm sure you will

Happy New Year to all

so glad to hear your mam's home karen, i can imagine the big smile on your face as you're typing ! enjoy your evening.

joanne, have a good night too, get ready for the new tough you in 07.

i'm just having a few wines tonight, might as well. chiquitos was lovely, first time we've been there and the food was gorgeous ! totally stuffed ouselves. anna was good too, esp happy when john the magician made her a pingu balloon and did a hankie disappearing trick for her.

didn't go the inlaws either so well pleased with myself as i'm usually a pushover but i stood my ground :-)
