afternoon all,

back to normal today ? i'm back at work tomorrow, thankfully just the morning then not back in 'til monday, ease back in gently !

all my decs and tree are now down, what a task that was trying to get everything back in their boxes with anna crying for me to leave them all up :sad: all done now, house looks nice and bare :lol:

can't beleive the dust and mess though, it's taken us all morning to get straight, still not completley there. jeff's just nipped out with anna so thought i'd have a little break ;-)

was up in the middle of the night really ill, was sick and felt like i was going to faint, it was scarey, feel ok now, just a bit sick. think i've over indulged and it's time to go and get some 'clean' food in :lol: :lol:

hi everyone,

just on my break from work, going back for 5.

some off our decs came down this morning. strange how empty the house looks afterwards. but it`s less to dust isn`t it.

i am officially on my new years diet now. so far i`ve had a bowl of porridge, a brocolli bake at work and i`m well on my way to 2 litres of water. plus i`ve body brushed too.

hope you`re feeling better paula, i think we`ll all feel better once we start eating and drinking normally again.

karen i love candles. don`t light `em though. just think they look nice.

looks like people are dropping like flies. there`s a few at work suffering. managing to avoid it so far.

and karen yes i do know what you mean about the body brushing. i like the clean tingly feeling of it.

yes it's back to normal for me! I've just taken all the decorations down and my lounge is on the way to looking clean and tidy again! that's until the kids come back tomorrow ! lol

trying to find somewhere to store all Laura's toys! definitely Toys R Us here as she had her birthday just before Crimbo as well!

Karen - sorry to hear you've not been well - that's the stress of your Mam being ill - comes out once you know she's on the mend! that's when I feel ill - after all the stressful times have happened

I love candles too! Alastair has been making some with the set I got him for Xmas - they smell gorgeous! are you planning to make them or just buy some and sell them on? I'll keep a look out although I need to use some that Alastair made me first

I'm in work tomorrow then off til Tuesday - going to spend some time with the kids on Thurs & Fri and take Laura for her first day at nursery on Monday - not sure I'm looking forward to that - she's defintely no longer a baby - she keeps telling me she's a big girl that doesn't need a dody

joanne that's good with lauras dummy, we've taken anna's off her during the day now, she now understands it's just for bed or when it goes dark. we had a massive tantrum when we started but seem to be getting there and tbh she is better for it, she seems to be happier and more chatty.

that's good Paula - we stopped Laura having her dummy during the day (except for in the car) just after she was 2 then after 6 months only at bedtime bnot in the car at all so it was only the bedtime thing - Santa "disappeared her dodies off the tree and left presents!" (and the one out of her mouth too!)

Anna probably won't stop talking now - Laura starts as soon as she opens her eyes and doesn't stop til after her bedtime story! - unless we want her to talk to other adults!

yeah, i've notced that joanne, she does seem to be chatting more.
