me and my bloke were talking about flanges (and i mean flanges not the rude meaning!) and he was saying it was something in engineering and i was saying it a nursing term- it's to do with stoma care!

im sure i used to use flanges when i worked in a factory making car and coach parts, they were really greasy things well oiled, well lubricated ;-) maybe thats where it stems from :lol:

Ive never known a fanny to be called a flange, which is probably a good thing or Id have never kept a straight face in engineering class!!! :roll: :grin:
