Hi there I am 19 years old and I am taking custody over my little sister who is 12. We have both had pretty tough lives and I went through the same things she is going through now when I was her age. She is very obnoxious, she talks back, she is rude, and she wants to do things HER way. While I understand this is somewhat normal for a preteen, she can get physical. She punches walls, kicks things, and hurts other kids at her school. I am planning on getting her in therapy to help, but I am wondering if there is any advice anyone can give me. The closest I have come to parenting is I raised my other two sisters up until I was 6 and I have not seen them since. Any tips or thoughts at all would be extremely helpful thank you.
