You are over the age of 18 so by law u are considered an adult. The best thing i can say is look for your own place. Also it's normal for people between 18 to 22 to have kids anymore. Your mom needs to relax a little and realize that her standards in life and standards now a days are completely different. My suggestion is to sit down and talk to her.

Try to plan to move out as soon as you can. After you leave you can tell her how you feel and that she only makes you feel bad and you can now choose who is in your life and if she can not treat you with respect than she does not need to be in your life.
I am sorry no parent should make their child feel bad. In a way it is a reflection on her parenting because babies are born knowing nothing and completely innocent so if she sees flaws in you it just reflects the flaws in her parenting. |

It looks like everyone is agreeing that you should move out. It would probably be the best for you to do. I know cuz of the stuff my family did i moved out when i was 16yrs old and have been on my own since then.

I moved out when I was just turned eighteen and not really allowed to come back unless I was completely broke and it was one of the greatest changes that ever happened to me. Honestly, it seems like it will be a huge ordeal that you need to make huge attempts to get your finances in order for but if you have a thousand or two dollars saved up then you are more than prepared. Find a job if you don't have one already then start looking at apartments and rooms to rent. Tell your parents you're taking steps to move out as well and if your mother is really so unhappy with you then maybe she'll help or at least stop being excessively mean to you. Nineteen is old enough not to have to deal with this kind of thing all the time.
