Well the good news is that my step-dad finally got to come home last night for good. Even with him now a diabetic and on dialysis he was able to leave the hospital and come home after being up there for 5 months. Yaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

I have more good news with my step dad. His kidneys had stopped working cuz of all his surgery and the stress they had put on them. Well when he went to dialysis on monday 7/30/07 the doctor told him that his kidneys were starting back up.

That isn't always the case. It can take years to get diabeates under control and that isn't even the worst of his problems.

I hope that he's doing better now and things are going back to normal. I wish your father the best of luck!
