If you have panic attacks, it doesn't necessarily mean that you're classified as a nutjob. I think that it would be beneficial if you were to tell your parents about it so they could bring you to the doctors to ensure that you are safe and healthy. If you don't tell your parents, chances are that it might harm you in various ways.

From my point of view, if you were to tell your parents about it and go to the doctors, your situation could potentially improve.

Sit down with them and tell them its important. Tell them that you think you've been having panic attacks for a while now. Tell them you would like to go to the doctor to see if your doctor can help you out at all. If they don't want to take you, tell them it is a little scary. That always made a difference with my parents. And if you don't want to take medicine, then tell your doctor that too. They get paid to listen to what it is you are saying. And they can offer up alternative ways to help you with your panic attacks.

I have anxiety problems, on top of a lot of other problems, and I'm not taking medicine for any of the stuff I deal with. But, if I got any worse, I would be willing to. Don't rule medicine out. It can sometimes make all the difference. If you have any questions for me, or want to know anything just ask.

Panic attacks over what? What triggers them? Seeing a doctor would help, and they could put you on medication, but that would most likely just dull your conciousness. The best thing to do is see a therapist (a good therapist- seriously, shop around and find someone you like or you won't make progress). Good luck, one love.
