Default Bullying in Schools

Bullying in schools, are the schools doing enough. As an ex-parent govenor I was shocked at the way bullying was handled. Ok they had a contract in place for all students to sign but when it was reported that a child was being bullied, I felt that not enough was being done, They felt it would be wrong to suspend a child or to expell them for bullying and instead thought it would be better to talk to them. There was one person within the school who was given chance after chance and they still bullied other children.

I feel some schools are to scared to tackle the issue incase the school gets a name for itself and other schools are not sure what to do with children who bully other children. I would be interested to hear how you feel bullying should be dealt with

Bullying in school is quite a natural habit of children so it cannot be ignored.
