Hello Ladies,

I am just wondering if a membership to Sam's club is worth the money at all. Is it really cheaper for diapers and other baby supplies? We do have a Walmart here, but I really hate going there.

I am not sure if Sam's Club will be better compared to Wal-Mart, but if I would know that the membership will pay for itself ...

We do have a Costco and Sam's membership. I love them both. Costco is a little more upscale and often carries some special items you can't get anywhere else. Sam's has some items Costco does not carry. I did keep track of the money we saved for a while and we usually break even in September and pretty much save money thereafter.

We have a membership to BJ's for years and really like it. I think you can usually get a day pass to try it out. Might be worth inquiring about it at Sam's Club. I am sure they offer the same kind "try before you buy" thing.

So, what did you end up with? Did you get a day pass for Sam's? Just curious to see what your overall impression is.

We will go there next weekend and check 'em out (granted they will really give us a day pass).
