Parenting is tough. It's hard. The lack of sleep. The constant stress. I am completely burned out. I love my baby boy to death - but I could also cry because he is sooooo demanding. I am not getting to anything in my household. Everything looks so dirty and I am trying to squeeze in any household core when possible. I will never survive this mess.

Is this just me or is every mom struggling the same way?

Hang in there, Puck. It's only going to get better. Parenting is hard, but no reason to give up. Try to enjoy the little one while he is still little. Don't put yourself under pressure having a super clean home. It ain't gonna happen for a while.

The sleep thing was my biggest problem. It seemed like it took forever before I could sleep more than 5 hours in a row.

I almost gave up at one point, too. Everything was so overwhelming. Friends from our church noticed the struggle and helped us through those rough times. I will never ever forget to ask for help again. I was able to return the favor later on and that really warmed my heart and made me happy.
