We were at both last June and I would say Disney wins by a mile, I was a bit disappointed with Universal and especially the restaurants, can you believe they ran out of Coke/Pepsi. Good choice with Seaworld too, we also went there and it is really lovely, the creatures the landscaping the whole package.

In Magic Kingdom, all the rides below are good for a toddler:-Ariel's Grotto - Its like a water play area and Ariel is there signing autographsPeter Pan's Flight - A tame ride around peter pans world! Great Fun for adults 2!!!Cinderella's Golden Carousel - Self Explantory!Snow Whites Scary Adventures - Maybe a little scary for a toddler on the other hand, as it is abit dark inside on the ride & things jump out at you!Dumbo the Flying Elephant - You fly up and down on dumbos, like a fairground rideWinnie the Pooh - This is a great ride!!! You go around Poohs "world!"It's a Small World - Boat ride around all lots of different countries. The toddler will enjoy the actual boat ride (theres no drops or anything!) and its very colorful inside!Pooh's Playful Spot - Just a play area thingMad Tea Party - Teacups spinning round! Maybe a little young but good fun all the same!Epcot:-Not a lot here really. They could go on Spaceship Earth but not aimed towrads toddlers really. Seas with Nemo & Friends is ok, its just an aquarium though really. Journey into Imagination with Figment is good too, but again, a toddler wouldnt understand it. MGM-There are some good shows in MGM like: Beauty & the Beast, Muppet Vision 3D (may be a bit scary!), Playhouse Disney Live on Stage, Fantasmic & Voyage of the Litle Mermaid. Rides wise, theres nothing really aimed at toddlers. There is a big Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground though which is fun!Animal KingdomIn Animal Kingdom there is Camp Minnie-Mickey which is aimed at toddlers. It gives you lots of chances to meet loads of different charecters! There is also Finding Nemo-The Musical, Its a bugs life (again, a 3D thing so abit scary!). There is things like digging up dinosaaurs and stuff but they are only there really to keep them occupied while the "bigger kids" go on the rides! The Disney Water Parks are fun 2 because there are loads of things for a toddler. They have miniture slides and fountains and tubes and things! As for Universal Studios (& Island of Adventure) there are perhaps more things to do! In Island of Adventure there is:- Cat in The Hat - Spinning ride around a sort of story book. Very Fun!1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish - Similar to Dumbo but you control whther you go up & down and if you pick the wrong way you get wet!!!!Caro-Suess-cel - Self explantory again I think but you sit on Suess Charecters. If I Ran the Zoo - Play area where push tuff to make water come up.Flying Unicorn - rollercoaster. height reqirement is 36" though. The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride - A cart in the air going around Seuss Landings! In Universal:There is Shrek 4D, Jimmy Neutrons Nick Toon Blast (this is like a simulator type thing!) Animal Actors show, ET (you ride bicycles, great fun!) Barney show, Curious George play rea where you get soaked and there is a huge ball pit, Woodpeckers coaster & play area again. All in all, I think that there are loads of rides to choose from in both. However, Magic Kingdom is more old-fashioned & Universal is more modern. I personally prefer Universal parks but its whatever you feel your toddler will enjoy most! Just be prepared to wait in line for everything for ages! Get to shows early if you are going to go to any, and don't be afraid of getting wet!I hope you have a really good time & that your toddler does 2!!!

This is the exact opposite of what I would say. I would say there's practically nothing for a toddler at Universal. Universal gears themselves to an older audience. If you have ever seen their commercials, they make fun of Disney as being for young children with nothing for older people. Which isn't true, but it gives you an idea of who they want in their parks.Disney World is made up of 4 different parks. The one with the most to do for small children is the Magic Kingdom (the one with the castle). Fantasyland is pretty much all stuff for children. Dumbo, Snow White, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, the Carrousel, It's a Small World, etc. If your child likes animals, you might enjoy going to Animal Kingdom. There's less for children at the other two parks, Epcot and the Disney Studios. But that doesn't mean you wouldn't have fun there, too! There is an excellent website called All Ears that describes all the different Disney parks plus has some information, though not as much, on Universal. I would recommend that you visit it, read through the attractions, and make a list of the things your toddler would enjoy. Disney World is a huge place, so you need to do at least a little advance planning to be sure you use your time wisely.

Hands down Disney. Universal studios is geared for the older kids with mostly thrill rides. In Islands of Adventure there is the Dr. Suess section, but it is only one small section compared to all of Disney. There is something for everyone at every park in Disney. The obvious choice is the Magic Kingdom. I will tell you a quick story. My daughter was just 4 the first time we took her to Disney. We stayed at the All-Star Movies resort, where she found a small playground while we were checking in. Our room was not quite ready so they stored our bags and we hit the parks (as we always do.) She had a fit, thinking we were leaving Disney. She complained on the bus all the way to the park. As we got closer and she could see Cinderella's castle and Space mountain she got very quiet. We walked through the turnstyles and were standing at the end of Main Street U.S.A., and I looked at her and said, "Katie, welcome to Walt Disney World." She looked at me and smiled and said, "Dad, whe don't have to go back to the playground if you don't want to." I will remember that day as long as I live. Disney is the most magical place on earth for reasons like that. There is tons to do in Disney for every age, especially toddlers and the little ones. Take her to Fantasyland on It's a Small World, the Dumbo ride, The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's flight. Then you can go to Tomorrowland and hit the rides there like Buzz Lightyear, the Monster's Inc. Laugh factory, and the Tomorrowland Speedway. There is also Mickey's Toontown fair to explore for the little ones as well as parades and other rides. If you are going more than one day to Disney, the only park that she may be bored in is EPCOT, otherwise check out MGM and Animal Kingdom too. Not only are there tons of rides and attractions for your daughter, but don't forget meeting the characters, including Mickey himself! In fact if you have not already, I always recommend to anyone going to Orlando to try to stay on-site if possible. Disney service is second to none and they really take care of their resort guests!Have a great trip! For more info I would check out two sources. First, go to the Disney website at www.waltdisneyworld.com. There is a description of each attratction and ride, you can decide for yourself what you want to see. Also, check out the disboards. The disboards is a message board site devoted to people going to WDW. There is so much info there your head will spin. You can get tips for attacking the parks, and ask questions about just about anything Disney, and then get answers from people who are Disney fanatics and know what they are talking about.Hope this helps!!

Both. I say Disney for the biggest part of your stay and one day at Universal Studios. Magic Kingdom is great for small children. Animal Kingdom has a Festival of Lion King show that is terrific. Check out their websites for information on rides. You can even find height restrictions to determine which rides your little one would be tall enough to ride.http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw...usf_index.html
