He doesn't have to lie. You are asking him to lie and he is complying, so far, even though he doesn't want to. Even if your parents do grow to like him otherwise, the trust will go out the window when they find out about the lie, and the foundation you tried to build of them liking him will become shaky at best, destroyed at worst. He wants to tell your parents the truth, so let him. If he is a good enough person of his own accord, then your parents should be able to see past his riding a motorcycle, which is likely his thinking. Plus, you shouldn't lie to yourself or us. You're not worried about your parent's worrying, you're worried that they won't let you see him because you are and have been riding on the back of his motorcycle.
