My child would take around 13 months, she would say please and thank you and some time mom and dad and no. But now she wont speak at all she uses jibberish and points and grunts and I dont know why, she knows the names of all the things she wants she just wont say the words, she wont even say mom she says "mo" and "da" for dad, I cant figure out way she just stopped talking.

Obviously, the others have answered that your Dr. is a good place to have this discussion, in case it's something big like autism, a speech problem, or a hearing issue.

But before you go, think about what else she's doing -- is she learning how to eat different foods? use utensils? Is she clapping along wwith songs? Is she more mobile in any way -- climbing? recently walking? Any major learning step in the toddler years can use up so much of her energy and brain power that she may regress in another area. When she masters the new task, the old skill may come back when she has the energy to devote to it. Another thing to check is if she pays attention to sounds -- either sudden noises or looks at you when you're talking or singing to her. If she's paying less attention than she used to, be sure the Dr. checks her ears for any sign of infection or wax build up. It could be that she isn't hearing as well so everything sounds like jibberish to her.

Good luck!
