Default Does anyone have any recommendations for finding a toddler girl's first...

...hair style for her first hair cut? I have searched for websites and have found very few examples. This is my first girl's haircut to find and I have no idea where to start. We would like to keep the length she has gained but make her hair healthier and shape it up a bit to keep it out of her eyes. We have been using hair bands but her hair is so long that it just falls over the band into her eyes. We are really torn between no cutting it to let it grow out more and cutting it into an actual style that can be maintained easier. I am afraid that we will regret cutting it afterwards but don't know if we are doing her a favor by putting it off. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

When you give a girl her haircut it has to be something she likes. So make sure that it is not something she'll through a temper tantrom over, so talk to her and say, "Is this OK..." And as far as styles go, somesthing a little shorter because since she is a toddler, she is going to be tumbleing and rolling so something REALLY MANAGEBLE. Give her shorter banges and cut the rest of her hair short but long enough to make good size pigtails. And remember... Her hair will always grow back, so don't be afraid. And lastly she is only a toddler so you don't have to fall into "The latest styles" Have fun with it!!!

Dont cut her hair. She is only a toddler. Use ponytails, barrets, plastic bands (rubber breaks your hair off) to keep the front section of her hair out of her face. Don't cut it till she's old enough to say "Mommy, Daddy, I want my hair cut".

Give her a little trim and make sure she is ok with it. Keep the change little but she will be used to the idea of a haircut

I would go to a place like Hair Cuttery or some hair cut place like that for her first hair cut. You could consult the stylist about hair styles/cuts and they will give you some very helpful advice and suggestions.Hope this helps!! =]
