My little one goes wild when I open my laptop, he wants to smack the heck out of my keyboard. It was cute the first few times now it drives us CRAZY
Is there "mini" baby computers out there? Fake computer obviously. |

of course their is.... any toy store should have them and very cheap ones for that matter. my nephew does that to his moms computer but not on mine cuz he knows better lol if u want him to stop just set up some discipline. i mean a laptop is too expensive to be fooled around with like that

OMG, our daughter is just barely a year. She drives us both NUTS. All she wants to do is hit the keyboard. We can barely get anything done because we have to move her out of the way all the time. I haven't found any computers for toddlers that have fixed her problem. Our next step, is we are going to go buy a cheap keyboard and sit it on a little table next to ours, and maybe she will just stand there and bang on it. But yes they do make toy laptops for kids. Some are just expensive. Good Luck, if you find something else that works, let me know.

Oh yes!! My (almost) 2 year old son thinks that this laptop is a toy apparently! Thank goodness we bought the warranty on it, when he was 18 months, he did get ahold of it, and smacked 8 keys off!! He is now learning that this is NOT a toy!! I have seen little toy laptops, and my mom bought him something similar, but my son was smart enough to realize it was a fake... haha the things we parents go through! Good luck!Oh.... one thing that did work for us for a while... we unplugged the keyboard for our tower, and let him play with the keys on that... it is much sturdier than the laptop!! Hope this helps!!

My daughter did not go for the "toy"versions of anything....so we improvised. an old (yet clean) univeral remote for when we watch tv. A fake cell phone that is gray like mommy's. she has her own real keyboard (not plugged in) that she plays with when I am on the computer.she never went for the baby looking stuff. But I found that if I give her stuff that looks real, she thinks it is like mine and is more content. plus I allow her to "do nice to mommy's computer" sometimes and push a few buttons and "help" me. she is allowed to have my cell phone (with the keys locked) as long as she does not eat it, and occasioanlly she can have the real remote to play with. the less off limits the stuff is, the better she is about it.
