my little girl is alomost 22 mos old her 2nd bday is comeing up soon aug 3 rd...i just wanted to know when will she start talking like us..she says moma dada nana dog etc...but shes not putting them togtether yet,,,but she is pottying be her self thank you for helping god bless

from the sound of it, she may already be a little ahead of you...

i really think birth order has a lot to do with it, my older children didn't talk well until about 3, but my younger kids where more fluent earlier. Honestly i think young children learn more readily from other children

It should be soon. Before you know it she will be putting 2 and 3 word sentences together. All kids develop differently. My daughter could speak in full sentences by around 20 months but was not potty trained until after she was 3. Good luck!

Don't fret, my 3yr old just started making sense to me!! Ask her things that will make her explain something to you such as "what did Elmo's friend Zoe wear today on Sesame Street?". The more you talk to her, the more she will talk and the better she will get at it!

My daughter started to put sentences together like us when she was around 2 yr. old. But she is the only child in the house and she is always around adults. When your daughter is ready she will start putting sentences together.
