I love Llama Llama red pajama. I read it to my kids all the time. other ones are: If you give a mouse a cookie..or Chicka Chicka BOOM BOOMAt that age it's best to find a book that is not too long, and has interesting pictures to look at. I like ones were the little one can say some of the words with you too!

when I was a toddler there were these great books about a little dog named Spot, there were also spot movies. Then there's also this book with words and illustrations to the song "there was an old lady who swallowed a fly". So if you got it you could either read or sing it to your child.

Lots of great ones have been listed. My girls love Llama Llama Red Pajama! We have lots of fun reading it. We also love Tails. That is a fun interactive book. Millie Moo is another great one for this age.As for catchy song.... we have a lot of books(really it is absurd) and the only one I can think of is The Three Little Pigs, they sing a song(in some versions of the story)
