best way to dislodge food in a choking toddler?

DO NOT SWIPE!!!!!! it is the first thing to come to your mind in that situation but it is very dangerous. you can lodge it further into their throat!! pick the baby up and put their neck in between your middle and first finger with their belly facing the floor, then just a couple of thrusts on their back should do the trick!!call your local police or fire department and take a cpr course they are usually free
