 yes true christine

Lors i hope you are not letting this get you down? You are doing the right thing and dont let them get the better of you at all with this  You are definately not responsible for looking after her child. You have your own life, good job, and a caring fiance

Keep smiling

i agree Lors you shouldnt feel guilty at the end of the day if your fellas mum hadnt "taken over the show" this probably wouldnt be happening right now. When i had my first my mum butted in and it made my fella feel left out so was harder for him when my mum was told by me to butt out.Maybe your fellas mum has realised that its not as easy as she first thought so doesnt want the responsibility im afraid they both have made there beds now they must lie in them well thats what i think.

Hiya

Well, Ive made it 100% clear to my fella that I arent prepared to look after "my niece" However, I am willing to go to his parents in a couple of weeks time, for his sake. I will be civil and Ive told him that he must tell his mum before we go down that she's not to mention us taking the baby off them as we dont want to. I think the word cant is a wrong word as techincally we could - but i dont want to. Ive also told him that when I want to leave then we have to leave. He seems happy with all of my requirements!!!!

Like you say, its their beds, they have to lay in them, his sister should have thought about the concequences before she opened her legs, her mother should have drummed it into her that babies are hard work and not always cute and cuddly.

only just read this, and i`m shocked that someone would even ask someone else to take on their kid. if she didn`t want a child then she should have kept her knickers on. i`m sorry but contraception isn`t exactly hard to get hold off and i`m sorry to mention it but abortion is an option these days.

she concieved, she gave birth it`s her child, her responsibilty

that makes me sound really angry doesn`t it !!

the problem here is the baby!! i know we all think that the mother should keep the baby but then what sort of a life will it have?? she would be better given up for adoption, theres lots of families out there desperate to love a child!
