Hi All
I am now nearly 21 weeks pregnant and permanently have sore legs due to cramps during the night! I get the cramp in the lower back half of my leg and it hurts so bad it wakes me up and then leaves me feeling like i have run a marathon the next day! Has anyone experienced this before? is it normal? What can i do to stop it? xx |

Your baby is laying on a nerve Ch3z, when it happens you just have to try and persuade him to move. The best way is lying on your left side and drink an ICE COLD 9and I mean ICE COLD) fizzy drink. Failing that a couple of parcetamol and a hot water bottle mate, he will move in time. Hope it get's better soon.

Just a quick one, if you get this sort of pain in your calf muscle and it goes very hot call your midwife incase it could be DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) I had a scare of this when I was pregnant with Eryn. Probably not pregnancy related at all more because I am a lazy so and so and rarely moved when I was carrying her (as I had SPD)
