Hiya
it's so long since Alastair was 2 I can't remember Laura is a proper little chatterbox but never ever says the S it's Alater he's tanding on tone I was cared stuff like that am I worrying unnecessarily? I don't want you to think I'm a pushy mother - she's doing OK with everything else and you can have a lovely conversation with her except for the S at the beginning of words |

billy had trouble with his r's and used to say y instead but apprently its perfectly normal, he had one speech therapy session when he started school and she showed him how to curl his tongue and that was that!! she said that most are easily correctable and are normal theres just a couple of letters that are more of a problem but i cant remember what they are
but if you think about it we see very few adults with speech impediments do we?i cant think what esme says but she says a few letters wrong but you cn understand her perfectly anyway and her lisp sounds cute  |

thanks
come to think of it Paula - Laura says 'palled over' instead of fall and pinger instead of finger - I'd not really picked up on that one Lizzie - Laura came out with 'pucks ache' the otehr day and that's not something I say often - I'd pulled up sharp in the car as someone cut me up and she shouted that out - and shook her fists too! wonder if it comes from daddy or Caroline? |

Hi Joanne, Annabelle doesn't say S either, it's a pider (spider) Nake (snake) Nail (snail) and so on... seems to be the norm, as I mentioned it to my firends who has a little boy the same age and he does it too.
