My 10 year old nephew had this done at the beginning of September, he missed the 1st week back at school as the hospital wanted him to be kept off in case of infection after removing the adenoids. He had the grommits fitted for glue ear, and his hearing is imparied and they wanted to see if the grommits helps his hearing at all, before they looked into the hearing lss any further. He coped really well and within a couple of days the little tinker was back to his old self. He was asking to play outside on his bike within a couple of hours of returning home the same evening. Hope all goes well.

hiya lizzie

i feel for you as i would hate to be in your situation and its totally understandable how you feel. im sure will decide for the best. i hope ellie isnt too bad bless her heart, it must be awful for you all.
my sister also suffered a lot as a small child with her ears and was also given grommits which helped her out, she had no problems after that, hope this helps.
