If you were my daughter (and two of them are pregnant at this very moment) I would hug you and ask you what exactly it is that you are scared of? Do you have anyone who is close to you and has had more than one child that you can talk to? If not, here's my two cents worth honey....Please, please try to relax. Anything can go wrong at any time in this crazy world we live in, in our job, our daily lives, our drive to work, a walk to the mailbox, to someone we love...my point is that if you live in an attitude of "somethings going to go wrong" and something does, you would be like "see, I told you" but if you live in an attitude of gratitude for your health, your beautiful first baby, the fact that you live in the US and are able to get excellent prenatal care even if you can't afford it, then life will be so much easier. As women, I think we are automatically programmed to believe that "something will go wrong", lol...sweetie, wait till your kids are teenagers...you will be writing to this column every day!!!Don't forget, if you worry all the time, then you won't be giving your baby a chance to grow in an atmosphere of love and acceptance...talk to her, let her know you are waiting for her, take walks with your one year old, get fresh air, eat very, very good, take care of yourself and rest.If you are a praying woman (and I am) please pray and ask God or your higher power to watch over you and your little ones. I will also pray for you and trust me, everything will be alright. Save the guilt, and worry for when the kids are teenagers, you will need the ammo more then!! Big hugs to you little mama, hang in there, in the end it is all worth it!!
