Default Signs of Cancer?

Well, I decided to ask you health experts as I have no idea what the hell is on the top of my head.. I was reading something about skin cancer a while ago and what not, and that if you have some form of differently coloured dots on your skin, or blotches, then there's a chance you may have skin cancer.. I dunno the exact thing, just remembering off the top of my head.

Anywhos, I have three, red, small blotches on the top of my head, and I keep bothering my mum to get me an appointment at the doctor, but she keeps forgetting ._. Anywhos, so I've had these red blotches on the top of my head for hm, 4-5 years now? And according to my mum, who pointed them out a few years ago, they are getting bigger. So yeah, I also have smaller sorta brown blotches on the inside of my thigh, but they went away after two weeks.. So, for the red blotches, any ideas as to what they may be?

hmmm they only taought us about breast cancer prevention in health(I still to this day dont think my class was mature enough to watch that video) the best thing to do is get them checked. All I know about cancer is that its casued be gene mutation causing something to grow unchecked so check for lumps and anyother abnormalities that you can think of... sorry I cant be of more help
